I'm Joris Grau, based in Leipzig, born in Dresden, and a former Berliner. I have a deep passion for creative computer-graphics work: it blends serious technical depth with striking visual output, and once you know how, you can build almost anything.
I take projects the whole way: concept, design, implementation and publishing. I care most about engaging, fully self-authored experiences, and that end-to-end mindset reaches into marketing as well, so an idea can travel from first sketch all the way to the people it's made for.
Browser-based shareable dioramas built from open data.
Development started, release planned for 2026.
Worked on Collision Zero, a VR accident simulation, which led me into GIS data visualization.
Developed in 2023, released in 2024.
Taught computer graphics at TU Dresden alongside my studies.
Where it all started. My older projects live on my legacy portfolio. You can finde even more interesting projects there!
View my older portfolioCurious how I got here? My older portfolio gathers earlier projects and traces the path to what I do today. It was built for desktop, so it works best on a larger screen.
